WHAT IS THE BEST AGE FOR NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY?
The perfect age to photograph your little one is between 2-10 days old as this is when they can be guided into those beautiful curled up sleepy positions - but don't worry! I know that child birth is unpredictable! If you cannot make it in at this ideal age, there is still plenty I capture with your little one. I have had beautiful galleries from newborns up to 8 weeks old!.
As I take a limited number of Newborn bookings each month, I recommend that you book your session as early as possible – this is usually after your 12 week scan. Newborn sessions are mainly available Wednesday - Saturday.
WHAT HAPPENS IF BABY IS EARLY OR LATE?
Sessions are booked using your due date. through this, I only take on a limited number of newborns per month to ensure that I will have the availability for all of the gorgeous little babies that are due to come and visit me.
Once little one arrives, you get in touch as soon as possible and we will schedule the earliest possible date for your session - hopefully within those first 10 days.
The earlier I can get you in, the better, but don't panic if you need a little extra time after the birth to recover. I can photograph your little one up to 6 weeks.
HOW LONG DOES THE SESSION TAKE?
It depends on whether you choose the Creative or the Mini session, but with either, you and baby will not be rushed, even if they need a little more time to settle, feed or change. And even if they are being a little pickle, don't worry, I have plenty of tricks up my sleeve to get your little one sleeping like a baby!
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
You choose your session package here. You have the choice to either pay just the session fee and choose the package option at the viewing, or you can pre-pay for a package which includes the session and an image package.
The session itself includes use of all the studio props and sets to create perfect portraits of your beautiful baby – this includes bowls, baskets, fabrics, throws, wraps, outfits, headbands and so on. You just need to turn up and relax!

CAN WE HAVE A FAMILY PHOTO DURING THE SESSION?
Yes of course! All session include parent and / or sibling shots to make the most of those first beautiful family moments!
As parents, we have a habit of hiding behind the camera but in years to come you will look back with such love at these moments .
CAN WE PURCHASE DIGITAL COPIES?
All session options include your purchased images as digital files, so rest assured, whatever you buy, you will be able to share your beautiful photos with your friends and family online!
WHEN WILL WE GET TO SEE THE PHOTOS?
Producing your beautiful photo gallery will take many hours of individually editing each image to get them ready for viewing, so allow up to 3 weeks between your session and viewing.

My studio is located in Frampton Cotterell, BS36 2EW. The full address is sent through on booking.
It's a comfy, light and airy studio with a relaxed atmosphere, just right for you to have a rest and catch up on some downtime while I photograph your little one.

The Studio
The studio boasts a comfortable, warm and light environment, where the natural light is utilised with the flash to create stunning portraits of you and your family.
There are a range of backdrops to choose from, including wood effects and colours, and there are several props that can be used to make your session fun for the little ones.
If you would like to discuss your session, I am happy to help you to plan the perfect images, including the sets and colour choices.
I would also be happy to get in certain props that may enhance your session, such as fresh flowers, as long as they are readily available.
